This bit of paper is a bond entered into by William Stanley, Henry Stanley and Henry Stokes, fishermen, to imdenify the parish from paying maintenance for the support of the illegitimate child of Ann Page, singlewoman 16th Sept 1788. Looks like Ann is saying that William Stanley (father-in-law of Henry Stokes) is the father of her child.
