Lost/sold his house in a down the pub (possibly through a bet). The winner walked into the house at lower hamworthy and was confronted by Isabella McMullen (his wife).
She told the man to go back to the pub and get his money before it was too late!

Maud McMullen looked after her father in his older life. Maud refused to allow her father to go to the workhouse, as she knew they would give him a cold bath and kill him.

Frank Mcmullen, son of William McMullen was born in 1852. He married Sarah Elizabeth McMullen (nee Brown) and lived in Poole.
